Stress, exhaustion and burnout are growing issues impacting the workforce and a symptom of workplaces that are increasingly fast-paced, complex and demanding.

  • Most employees (76%) experience burnout at some point, with 28% saying they experience it very often or always

  • 51% of women feel their stress levels are higher than a year ago

  • 36% of women see burnout as their main career challenge, rising to 43% at C-suite / senior director level.

This is driven by a pressure cooker of complex factors.  The unrelenting deadlines, ‘always-on’ mentality and pressure & urgency to deliver creates significant pressures within our workplaces.  This is combined with post-pandemic impacts, workplace barriers, as well as the mental load that comes from our personal lives.
